Manfred Buchheit
The Official Photographer of FESTIVAL 500 for 2003 is Manfred Buchheit. Mannie credits the inspirational character and beauty of Newfoundland for focusing his career as a photographic artist. His work in pinhole and other alternative/experimental photographic mediums has garnered him national and international acclaim. He is collected by the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography, the Art Gallery of Newfoundland and Labrador and his work is represented in many private and public collections.
