Fund Development and Marketing Officer
Festival 500 is looking for an organized and disciplined fund-development professional to be part of the management team of this highly successful international choral festival. The Fund Development and Marketing Officer is responsible for all fundraising, development and marketing activities of Festival 500 Corporation. The position reports to the Festival Manager and works in close association with the Board of Directors.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
· Developing, integrating, implementing, managing and monitoring a
comprehensive fund development program
· Developing and managing all donor recognition programs
· Prospecting, maintaining and retaining sponsorship for corporate and private business funding sources
· Solicitation and relationship building
· Coordinating the Festival’s marketing activities (including web-site)
The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral presentation skills, will possess or develop a strong presence in the community, superior interpersonal skills, be highly organized and able to operate smoothly under the demands and pressures of a major international festival. Knowledge of the not-for-profit arts industry would be an asset.
