Call for Delegates

Festival 500, in cooperation with Memorial University of Newfoundland, invites you to attend The Phenomenon of Singing International Symposium VIII July 10-13, 2011, an integral academic component of this international choral festival. The Symposium aims to gather international expertise, provide a forum for interdisciplinary discourse, performance and the dissemination of research, and generate further knowledge relating to the phenomenon of singing.

In addition to invited scholars and artists, there will be presentations representing ongoing research in countries around the world. A diversity of presentation formats will include papers, lecture-recitals, lecture demonstrations, poster sessions, panel and roundtable discussions and cameo recitals.

The Phenomenon of Singing International Symposium VIII offers something for everyone!
