Would you like to be a part of something special? Keen on volunteering? Looking for an opportunity to meet people from all over the world? Then we'd love for you to come and volunteer with Festival 500. Your support as a volunteer during Festival 500 is one of the keystones of our success and one of the reasons why Festival 500 is recognized as one of the best choral festivals in the world.

As a volunteer, you could help out in any of the following ways:

Homestay

Provide accommodation to out-of-province participants in your home.

Noteable Lunch Escorts

Facilitate movement of choir to and from lunchtime performance venue (via the in-Festival bus system) and/or prepare venue for choir's arrival.

Choir Liaison

Act as liaison between your assigned choir and Festival 500.

Hospitality

Assist with the distribution of lunches and/or preparation of receptions as well as reception space decoration.

Merchandise Sales

Assist with the sale of Festival merchandise at merchant tables.

Ticket Takers

Collect tickets at performance venues.

Transportation

Assist in the provision of general transportation needs. Drivers must be 25 years or older and have a valid driver's license.

Ushers / Program Sales

Assist audience members with seating and sell souvenir programmes.

Assist with various tasks during rehearsals and performances.

Volunteer Support (general)

Assist with general and various tasks of Festival.
